If I released it now no one would be able to get it working... so I haven't yet. Use the text widget to show only the pages you want to and then you can use CSS and display:none to hide the top navigation bar. Also, if you use nested pages (set the parent to an existing page) they won't show up in the top navbar (but they would show in the sidebar widget -- so don't use it). @Internet Monkey: I do plan to write some (you can find my tips here: http://engtech.wordpress.com/tools/wordpress/) but I find that writing wordpress.com specific tips doesn't get as much of an audience as you'd think.
